Visitor Visa (Subclass 600)
This visa is a temporary visa and is for individuals who wish to travel to Australia as a visitor. This visa allows you to visit for 3, 6 or 12 months. To be granted this visa the applicant must have a genuine reason to visit Australia, have access to adequate funds to support themselves during the visit in Australia and not intend to work in Australia. Applicants must also meet certain health requirements for this visa.
Family sponsored Visitor Visa (Subclass 600)
This visa is a temporary visa and is for individuals who wish to travel to Australia to visit family and or holiday. The applicant must be sponsored by a close family member (Parent, child, sibling, grandparent, grandchild, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew) who is an Australian citizen or permanent resident and over the age of 18 years. This visa allows you to visit for 3, 6 or 12 months. To be granted this visa the applicant must have a genuine reason to visit Australia, have access to adequate funds to support themselves during the visit in Australia and not intend to work in Australia. Applicants must also meet certain health requirements for this visa. Please note that the sponsor may have to pay a security bond (usually between AUD$5,000 and AUD$15,000) which will be refunded if the applicant complies with all the visa conditions and leaves Australia before the visa expires.
Business Visitor Visa (Subclass 600)
This visa is a temporary visa and is for individuals who wish to travel to Australia on a short-term business visit. Business visits/ activities may include a conference, negotiation or exploratory business visit, but do not include acting, musical performances or commercial film making.This visa allows you to visit for 3, 6 or 12 months. To be granted this visa the applicant must be coming for a genuine business visit, have access to adequate funds to support themselves during the visit in Australia and not intend to work in Australia. Applicants must also meet certain health requirements for this visa.
